On 4 November 2026, RETIME will take part in Building Climate Resilience Together, a hands-on workshop organised by ICLEI Europe in collaboration with the CLIMRES, RETIME, and Minority Report projects. The event will take place at the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) held in Barcelona, Spain, from 3 to 5 November 2026.
Catarina Ferreira da Silva (ISTAR-Iscte) will introduce RETIME’s objectives and present its contributions to climate adaptation and early warning. José Felizardo of Lisbon City Council, which hosts one of the RETIME pilots, will join representatives from Dublin and Patras for a session exploring city representatives’ perspectives. The discussion will focus on local climate challenges and how digital tools can support cities in addressing them.
The workshop will bring together complementary approaches to strengthening the resilience of buildings, neighbourhoods and urban systems. Participants will see demonstrations of selected digital tools for assessing climate risks and vulnerabilities and exploring adaptation options. They will then have the opportunity to get acquainted with the tools individually or in small groups using prepared scenarios.
A closing discussion will gather participants’ feedback on the tools’ usability, data requirements and potential to support decision-making in other cities.
