In contrast to traditional hackathons, event will focus on the ideation phase of the NBS design. RETIME Resilience Ideathon will bring together experts with diverse backgrounds and create a cross- disciplinary dialog, following inspirational lightning talks of renown experts, mentoring sessions, and networking side-events.
The key challenge is to develop a compelling, interdisciplinary concept for an NbS intervention to address urban heat and heat stress.

Any ideas are welcome! Ideathon participants could develop early-stage concepts such as early-warning systems, interactive heat-risk maps, heatwave preparedness games, or initial prototypes of a creative app, a business idea, an online or offline heatwave preparedness game, or a communication campaign, including a risk-information toolkit, a social innovation model, or a proposal for a community initiative.
