RETIME at the International Portuguese Smart Cities Summit 2026
Between 12 and 14 May 2026, the coordinating team of the RETIME project presented the objectives and latest developments at the International Portuguese Smart Cities Summit 2026, one of Portugal’s leading forums on urban innovation, sustainability, and smart territories.
In collaboration with the Lisbon City Council, a RETIME project partner, the ISTAR-Iscte team showcased the climate resilience solutions currently under development within RETIME, alongside demonstration videos highlighting the key benefits and practical applications.
The three-day event brought together companies and startups, municipalities and public authorities, universities, and research centres, as well as collaborative networks and national and international experts, fostering exchange between scientific knowledge, public policy, and local implementation in the areas of climate adaptation and urban transformation.
The participation of the RETIME consortium underscored the importance of strengthening links between academic research, local governance, and territorial action, highlighting collaboration between academia and governmental stakeholders as a key driver for co-developing solutions to urban and climate challenges.
