On 6 October, the European Commission held the CINEA Cluster Meeting at CINEA’s premises. EU-funded projects met there to share knowledge, present innovative solutions and discuss the policy developments shaping the sector. The discussions looked at how project results and innovations could feed into the strategic action pathways of the Built4People (B4P) Partnership. They also covered how project outcomes could inform policymaking and the priorities for the next Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF, 2028–2034).
On 7 October, the B4P Stakeholders Forum was organised by the European Commission, CINEA, ECTP, and ENCORD. It gave participants another chance to exchange views on key European priorities: sustainable building renovation, climate neutrality, digital innovation, and closer collaboration between research, industry and other stakeholders. At the Forum, Niall Buckley (IES) presented the Resilience of the Built Environment (RBE) Cluster.
The cluster brings together seven EU-funded projects, including RETIME. Read the RBE Cluster Joint Manifesto.
RETIME’s participation in both events highlights the value of cross-sectorial collaboration in accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable, resilient, and people-centred built environment.
