Hosted by the Institute of Baltic Studies, the two-day meeting brought together consortium partners to review progress and align on upcoming activities. Discussions focused on the advancement of resilience solutions, updates on the demonstration plan, and further development of technical tools supporting the project’s objectives.
A highlight of the meeting was a site visit to the Tähe 2 pilot building, where participants explored real-world applications of smart and sustainable renovation approaches. The building manager provided insights into the structure’s layout, key equipment, and renovation works implemented under the SmartEnCity initiative (2016–2022), including a demonstration of a smart interface designed to enhance residents’ interaction with building systems.
Beyond technical sessions, participants also engaged in a guided tour of Tartu’s historic Old Town. This cultural experience fostered informal exchanges among partners, reinforcing collaboration and knowledge sharing across the consortium.
The General Assembly reaffirmed the strong cooperation within the RETIME consortium and ensured alignment as the project progresses into its next phase. Building on the momentum generated in Tartu, partners will continue working collectively to deliver impactful solutions that strengthen urban resilience and support communities across Europe.
